Pride veteran Yoshihiro Takayama se takmičio u “wrestlingu” kada je zadobio težu povredu, gde je ostao nepokretan od vrata pa na dole. Doktor kaže da nema šanse da će se oporaviti i da će ovakav da ostane do kraja života.
Yoshihiro se borio u legendarom Pride FC-u tri puta a jedna od tih borbi je borba koju su mnogi MMA fanovi sveta siguno pogledali. Naime on se borio sa Don Fryom na “Pride 21” kada je u ringu bio pravi rat. Njegov MMA skor je 1-4, tako da možemo da zaključimo da u MMA-u nije imao većeg uspeha.

He is conscious but at first he had no feelings below his neck, and also artificial respiration was necessary for him to breath. But right now, he can breathe on his own. He was transferred from ICU to HCU, then around mid-August, he was moved to the hospital in the Kanto area. He can still breathe on his own but he still has zero feelings below his shoulders. The doctor did say ‘for now there is no chance of recovery’ and Takayama was in despair at first but right now, even with little bit of hope, he is doing the rehab.
